Need help combining partitions if it can be done.

I have a laptop with what looks like a 575GB capacity but in disk manager it is split unevenly. The drive that windows uses only has 150GB. Can I un partition and make this to a 575GB drive. For information I bought it like this and did not do this myself. I have attached a screen shot of disk manager for reference. http://i1245.photobucket.com/albums/gg587/grantnunn/drives_zps6896dc17.png" class="img lazy">

More about combining partitions
  1. what kind of files are on the D: drive?

If you can move the the files to the C:, then you could delete the D: partition so it will show Unallocated, and then expand the C: drive to include the unallocated space.

That sounds good and is what i would like to achieve. There is nothing of any importance on the drive. How do i expand the C:?

    Thanks

    go to the Disk Manager

    Delete the D: Volume

    Delete the D: Partition

    It should show as unallocated

right click on the C: partition and choose Expand Volume
