Best location for second case fan? Sentey Eagle case

Hi all,

I have a new computer built for gaming, etc, and I am always concerned about cooling. It won't be overclocked, and without getting into a discussion of whether or not my system needs an additional fan, I'd like to get opinions on where to put one.

I have this case http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811322068 with one 120 mm fan at the top back, bottom-mounted PSU and of course GPU stationed above the PSU. I already have another 120 mm fan, and I've read that a front intake fan is optimal. As I don't know much about building, I can't figure out how to get into the front of this case to install such a fan. Does anyone have experience with this case and advice on how to do that?

Otherwise, where are good alternative spots for an additional fan? Bottom intake? Top outlet spaced away from back exhaust (cpu is closest to back exhaust fan)?

Thoughts?

well...I'm not going to go on a search for such, but...
Front intake, back/top exhaust is the optimal, minimal config. One in the front, one in the back. Moving air through the case, not just blowing it around.

I was unable to figure out the front panel, so I put the fan at the top as an additional exhaust right above the CPU.

Is it okay that the new fan, the CPU and the back exhaust fan are all in pretty close proximity? There's another top vent more toward the front of the case in which I could put the fan, but it screws up some cords from the CPU and I figured extra venting right off the CPU cooler is a good thing. What do you think?

And yet I have never seen any manufacturer ship a case set up that way . Always the fans are set to exhaust hot air from near the processor . Of course that sets up an air flow since blowing hot air out means cooler air will come in through the front of the case anyway

"Always the fans are set to exhaust hot air from near the processor"
Yes...that's what the rear fan does.

All come stock with a front fan (intake) and a rear fan (exhaust).

The upgraded version of this case comes with a front intake fan as #2. Unfortunately, as I said above, I can't figure out how to open the front panel without risking snapping something off. Simple airflow dynamics tell us that if there are places of ingress, a pure exhaust system will create the air pressure difference necessary to have flow. It just won't be as much without a dedicated fan to pull more outside air in. Either way, can either of you tell me if there's a significant problem with having the second fan kind of corner-to-corner with the back fan above the CPU?

Thank you! Now let's just hope I installed it in the correct direction.
