What did you check before disassembling the camera? If the battery is a rechargeable one and has been left in the camera for a long period of non-use the battery may not be holding a charge. Will the camera power on if connected using the AC adapter? If the battery is the problem you can check the links below for a replacement battery:

http://www.amazon.com/EasyShare-Digital-Battery-Premium...
http://www.batteriesplus.com/products/551-0/4554-Digita...

Other than a replacement LCD screen the other parts I have seen are accessories.

Well it's my gf's moms camera and when she gave it to me to look at it didnt have any batteries in it and she doesnt have the ac adapter. She said she had gotten it off a friend for $50 and it worked for a few days then it took a crap. There's no corrosion and I've tried many different batteries. the three boards inside look fine too.

I have no idea what to tell you to try next. I've never attempted any sort of camera repair. Have you tried finding a manual to see if there are any trouble-shooting directions? Link to manual: http://resources.kodak.com/support/pdf/en/manuals/urg00...

Below are the two things to try if the camera will not turn on (source: user manual):
1) Insert a new or charged battery.
2) If practical, connect the camera to a Kodak 3-volt AC adapter
(sold separately), then try again. See page 62 for more battery
information.
