I have recently bought an XFX HD 7770 Ghost Thermal edition, but it is getting bottlenecked by my ancient CPU.
My current specs are:
2GB RAM DDR2
500W PSU
Intel Celeron E3400 @2.60GHz
And the motherboard: P5KPL-AM SE
I am trying to upgrade my cpu, but i will have to wait few weeks for that. Until that time, I would like to overclock my cpu to increase my performance. I do realise that this will not get rid of my gpu bottleneck.I have a stock and old dusty cooler, but it is doing its job. Ive seen videos at youtube where people overclock it to 4.2GHz. I would want at least 3 GHz.
