URGENT: Case with absorbing foam and lighting

Hi, I'm going with the Corsair Carbide 300R case with Sound Absorbing Foam on Side, Top And Bottom panels. I'm also wanting to do some color fans and neon lighting. In this case with the foam panels, will that defeat the purpose? Like will the lighting not show on the top and sides?[strike][/strike]

It's a windowless case. There's really not that much point in putting flash on the inside.
