That PSU is complete junk. Get a Corsair, Antec, XFX, Seasonic PSU. I bet this is the issue.

So do you think 1100W is overkill for my system? I had an 850W when i built and had to return becasue with the graphics cards i have it wouldnt turn on due to the lack of power.

WAY too much. A good quality 650w PSU would even be more than enough. The MAX power draw from 2x 4780s is 430w.

I would get a 650-750w unit from antec, XFX, Corsair, Seasonic crossfire/SLI certified.

so i just want to make sure that the reason i had to get an 1100w before is that crap brand wouldnt pull enough out as a corsair or xfx would?

Yes correct. that 1100w PSU likely actually made around 600w of unreliable and inconsistent power.

That will work perfectly. Plenty of head room so you can upgrade cards later on.

So just got it in the mail and installed. Turned on and it booted up fine. I'll do some testing tonight with games running on full graphic to pull more power from it to see if i can get it to shut down. Here's to hoping this fixed it! :)
