The Kraken fans are freaking loud when you set them to max. RPM. But when you set them to silent or custom profile they are quite usable.
What bothered me about the fans was the fact the minimum RPM was somewhere around 800RPM I think. Which was too much / too loud in idle for me.

So, my advice: Try the stock fans and see how they work for you. If they are too loud, get other fans.
I don't really see the logic in buying a $110 cooler that produces 37dBA then changing the fans for $10 - $20 each to make it quieter (lower rpm) and then the cooler doesn't cool as well.

The Coolermaster Eisberg 240L Prestige produces only 20dBA and does a better cooling job..... it's loop can also be "opened and expanded tocool additional components.
