So i had a dvd player go out. i swapped t with another one. during that process i saw a small spark. i then realized that i didhn't unplug the cord. i only powered down my desktop computer. i then unplugged the cord. afterputting everything back together, i plugged it back up. the keyboard light came on and the bluetooth blue lught came on my external bluetooth adaptor that is plugged in a usb port. when i hit the on button, nothing happened. i now have disconnected everything oneby one and tried to turn it on. i even openned up the psu and tested the fuse in there which showed continuity. nything else i can dbefor buying a motherboard?

so far it seems that the psu is bad. did the green to black jumper and got nothihg. pulled an older psu from another computer and tested it. it was still good. tried to start the computer up and got nothing. still trying to find the manual for the mobo to maybe reset the cmos. any other ideas?

psu is dead. swapped it for another one. it was a little older but still had the correct pin configuration for the motherboard. i plugged in one of the fans aswell to see if there was power. when i hit the start button the fan for a blink had power. i took out the battery of the motherboard for several minutes. tried again and got the same results. any other ideas?

New PSU came in. Installed it. Computer still will not come on. Only thing it does is make the lights flash on and the fans try to turn for a fraction of a second. Looks like it is upgrade time now..
