I am about to embark on my first ever gaming pc build. I want something that can run most games at high to ultra settings with 60 fps. I want a case that had room for upgradability and a windowed side. I would also like to keep this under 800$ if possible, not including Windows 8, or peripherals such as keyboard and mouse. Thanks for any help and If it isn't possible to build a pc for that price that runs games at those settings please tell me I can be flexible with the price.

nick there are a lot of options and personal preferences play an important role. answer me this...

1- do u intend to overclock? (mobo and CPU)
2- do u intend to upgrade the machine to an SLi in near future? (ur choice of mobo & PSU depends on it)

these two question will help people determine a good choice for ur machine.

I eventually plan on over clicking and upgrading but not for a few years or until this gets outdated enough to be worth it. Thanks !

i would second scycron...his suggested build looks promising for the price. however, since i dont know much abt AMD so cannot comment on that. However, this has hell lot performance per dollar than Intel.
