Hey guys,

Just built a new computer, installed a PCI-E Adapter, and installed the motherboard, graphics card, and PCI-E Adapter drivers, but it still says something's wrong... It seems as it says you can only connect through LAN even though my PCI-E Adapter says "Wireless" on it.... I'm new at all this, and was super hyped to test out my pc but it seems to not find internet.... Please help!!!

If your using a wired connection look on the mb cd driver for the Ethernet driver for the mb chipset. If your using a wifi card or USB dongle make sure the driver installed. For wireless network you need to connect to your router. On the bottom or in router set up screen is the ssid that it sending out. You need that at the network wep or wpa key.

I download all the drivers... That's the thing. I downloaded the wifi card driver, everything. That's what I don't understand. And it doesn't show me a list of networks. I just shows a red cross.

Check device manager for any errors in the adapter?

I checked, it says connect a LAN, but I need to be able to use WiFi. Did I buy the wrong thing?

Doesn't say anything about a wireless adapter in Device manager?

I already did all the of that, expect try it no an another pc. Don't have another desktop :(

If they sent you a wireless card there should be a daughter card connected to the card and ant ant leads. Check that the daughter card is locked in. If there nothing there like the first photo you posted they sent the wrong card. Also read the card see if it matches up. If it does call them up for a refund/replacement card.
