Hey, guys. New to the forum, and I'd figure I'd ask for your guys' opinion on my first gaming build. It ended up costing ~$700, and I've been enjoying the PC scene so far.

Here's my setup:
CPU: AMD FX-6100 Zambezi 3.3GHz Hexacore Processor
GPU: ASUS GTX650TI-O-1GD5 GeForce GTX 650 Ti 1GB
MOBO: ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s
Case: Sentey Extreme Division GS-6000 II Optimus Black
RAM: 8GB G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series (x1)
PSU: Rosewill Stallion Series RD600 600W ATX12V V2.3
Storage: 1TB 7200RPM HDD (Future upgrade to x3 of them)
OS: Windows 7 Home Edition

Keep in mind, I don't really need to run anything too intensive. I honestly care more about performance than prettiness.

I'll tell you, putting everything together was a fun experience. First time I've ever laid my hands on the guts of a computer, and I'm thinking of making it my career field.

Advice on future upgrades would be nice as well. :3

Solution
The FX 6100 is not a good CPU the 6300 is much better and the 650Ti is not good but the boost edition is but if you already have them they are OK.

Opinions are well you know.. As long as you are enjoying the scene and the setup is working that is the main thing... Real world experience trumps benchmarks every time!! Enjoy the system.

Right now, the games I'm playing on it are TF2, Fallout: NV, Skyrim, BF3, Minecraft, and Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

I figured this'd be a good transition from consoles, and would keep me tided over until there's a more concrete review on the next gen of consoles.

This is still a WIP over time, as this case is much too cramped for me to use two GPUs. I'm not too good with case mods. It should be a good starting point to dip my toe in the PC world.

I'll probably end up getting a full tower from Cooler Master when I have the funds.
