Is there a way for the XBOX 360 controller to be recognized as a joystick instead of a gamepad? And does it make any difference?
I'm trying to register the buttons in an older game (Shogo: Mobile Armor Division) and it won't do it. I'm assuming it's because it isn't recognizing a joystick is plugged in, but that could be way off. Any other suggestions if my current hypothesis is stupid and likely not the issue? (it works fine otherwise, both as far as windows detecting it and it working with other newer games.)
