Hey,
sorry if this is a noob post, but I am thinking about taking the jump and overclocking my aging computer.

I have an intel ecg3510m motherboard, maxxed at 8gbs of ram, a geforce gt 620 video card, and of course my intel Q6600 processor.

Any help would be appreciated guys, thanks.

As an Intel board it may lack any OCing support. Read the bios to see what options it has. Are you new to OCing? You probably need to start with some guides if you have no idea what you are doing. First step is usually to bump the FSB from 266 up to 333 and force the ram to stay at 800. (Assuming you have 800MHz ram.) Assess from there what needs to be done farther based on voltages and temps.
