What would be a good replacement motherboard for a Asus P5N-D. Intel LGA775 Socket. 8gb DDR2 Dimm. Two (2) of the four (4) slots for the ram are defective.

Is your motherboard still under warranty?? Some the old mb had lifetime and five years on them. If not try getting the same mb or one with the same chipset. So you won't have to reinstall your os.
