I have a system running Windows Server 2012. The operating system is installed on Disk 1 on Primary Partition. I have Disks 2 and 3 on Raid 1 for Backups and Disk 3 and 4 are on Raid 0 for Torrents and such stuff. I want to move the OS from Windows to CentOS. Can you please tell me if this is a feasible option without damaging the disks? I setup the disks through Windows, will this setup be retained if I move to CentOS?

There are actually two questions:
- how your RAIDs are set-up - in hardware (dedicated or on-board RAID controller), or in software (through Windows)? If in hardware - are there drivers for Linux / your-chosen-distro?
- most probably, the volumes are created with NTFS file system. While Linux has (good) support for NTFS, using it as your primary storage would be problematic. So, what I would do - get a new disk and use it to install Linux (with all other drives disconnected), then start adding your disks, and use another spare drive to copy / format / restore your other drives to native Linux.
