I recently bought my mates 560 GTX. I was previously using a 5670hd radeon on 1920x1080 using a 32' screen. When I try to put the resolution back to 1920x1080 using a hdmi to dvi cable it seems distorted and the colours seem weird. It is currently on 1366x768 but I know it can run 1920x1080. Can anyone help please

Uninstall the ATI drivers, completely. Then install the latest drivers for the 560. I believe there are still some registries for your ATI card.

Go to device manager, display adapters or similar with the tags of display. You will likely see your 5670 there. Then uninstall it. Then restart, then run CCleaner, clean the registries twice. Then install the nvidia drivers.

Ati- display, then click on analyze, and then clean. You should then be prompted to restart your computer, restart it and then you can install your nvidia drivers.

Yes, you should completely remove the nvidia drivers as well, and then install them again. Although you can check and see if your problem has been corrected first.

Just try and check if you still have the said problems, if all are gone. Then no need to reinstall the Nvidia drivers

Well yes, but instead of catalyst it will be nvidia's equivalent. Then after following the uninstall prompts, and restarting your computer, run driver sweeper again except this time, select NVIDIA-Display, analyze and then clean. After that restart your computer, and you should be good to install your nvidia drivers.

Lastly, if problem still persists, it might be the GPUs problem. Try it with another rig.

Try a different screen or tv, perhaps try a different hdmi to dvi cable or just a hdmi cable if there is a port for it. It can be something as irritating as that.
