I fell and my hand hit the laptop pretty hard. The hard drive had issues right away, forcing me to do a complete factory restore without even being able to back up the data.
So after a whole day of letting system recovery do its thing, the laptop finally boots up and work.
But I've been having severe lag spikes, programs not responding and now even the OS itself is telling me the hard drive will die.
But I really need the Windows 7 OS on this hard drive. Windows 8 just doesn't work for me, and I don't have the cash to buy a hard drive AND a copy of w8 anyways.
So my question is:
-How do I completely back up the data from my old, damaged drive to a new one? Basically making a clone, down to the recovery partitions.
