Setup

Motherboard: GA-Z77-UD3H
RAM = Corsair Vengeance 4gb
CPU = i5 3570k (Stock)
CPU Fan = Stock

Ok so what happens is

1. Hit power button
2. Gets to the default screen (Hit F1 for blah, Hit F12 for boot options)
3. Skips past that screen in a millisecond
4. Sits on another screen (Shown in the vid) for a few secs
5. Restarts

What I was doing before hand.

I was having BSODS with windows 8 so I got pissed off @ it and decided to format and reinstall w7. I was trying to format the empty space (Still had 1 partition with stuff on it that I wanted to keep) and that didn't work so I got Fedora and tried to just copy & paste onto a USB. Fedora didn't boot into the desktop and came up with an error so I decided to restart and that's when the problems started.

What I've tried
1. CMOS battery
2. Reset button on mobo
3. Reset CMOS button on mobo
4. Out of ideas

Video of the problem: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7vjj2tGx2nc

Try unplugging everything from the back (ie: mouse keyboard LAN etc) and switch power off. Then hold power button for a minute or two. This will get rid of any acive current running in machine.

If this doesn't work, then you can open your case, unplug everything except main drive, one stick of ram, and video card. Keep is basic, because a bad drive could be causing the issue.

Sorry to be rude but I've had a really shitty day

Everything IS unplugged which you would have found if you watched the video. The only things that are plugged in are

1. 24 Pin
2. CPU Fan
3. CPU Power
4. Montitor
5. 1 Stick of RAM that I have moved through every slot

A few thoughts - Have you tried a different stick of ram by itself? I couldn't tell from the video - Doesn't that mobo need a ATX12v 4-pin or 4+4 pin plug also (is that what you mean by 'CPU power')? I'd have a keyboard plugged-in and be tapping whichever key enters the BIOS (usually the del key or whatever it is for your board). The other thing I'd do is hook up a PC speaker and see if its beeping something at you.

I've tried all 4 sticks of RAM all in different slots, None of it fixed the problem. By CPU power I mean a ATX 12v 8Pin (That's what I meant by CPU power) As for the keyboard it still just goes to that blue screen that is shown in the vid and then turns off. I'll give headphones a go now for noises

Hello,

The UD3H has a dual bios setup on the motherboard so the next thing to try is forcing the computer to re-write the bios from the the backup. To do this please hold the power button down and wait for the computer to power on, then power off, keeping the button held in until the fans have stopped spinning. Then power on as normal, and all being well the monitor should show a screen telling you the BIOS is being re-written. On my Ud3H I had to power cycle it a couple of times to force it to re-write the bios. (Note: this is NOT the same as removing the CMOS battery, that only resets defaults whereas this is a re-write of the software)

Next thing is the UD3H has a 2 digit number display on the motherboard itself. Please attempt to power on as you have been doing and note down the numbers. Then report them here and if you have your manual please consult it for what the numbers mean. They should give a clue whether this is a motherboard or CPU problem.

Next please try using a different PSU to the one you have if you have a compatible spare to try using. And finally please try using a separate graphics card and not the motherboard connections to see if that gives you any joy, although it probably isn't very likely.

Please let me know how you get on. Hope that helps,
Phil

By any chance are you using a USB wifi stick? If so you'll need to use it with a USB 2 port (there are none on the back, you'll need to use some front panel port) and not one of the blue USB 3 ports due to a common driver incompatibility. If its not that then it looks to be something to do with your current network interface.

Also the back USB ports probably won't function as expected until you run the gigabyte firmware update utility @bios which can be downloaded or found on your motherboard CD. When you re-wrote the firmware it reverted back to as shipped and should be updated as soon as possible.
