Ok, firstly i would like to say sorry if this is the wrong category for my problem.
I have a Corsair CX750, AMD FX6300, M5A97 LE R2.0, 4GB Crusial balistix, 1 TB WD RED, Stock backplate - aftermarket cooler, Gigabyte GTX 760.
When I am in windows and I hover over an icon for lets say a game (desktop) a very short and quiet beep occurs, through my pc, it seems like cpu area on the motherboard. When I change my system power to 'power saving' it is fine, but i want it on high performance as it is a gaming build. Also in balaned, which i use, its still beeping on and off. In high performance its almost constant
The pc alone is barley Four months old so it cant be clogged with dust.
Here is what it sounds like, except when I put my head up against the PSU it's silent, whereas the cpu area of the motherboard isn't.

Should I get a new PSU?
Or is it because my motherboard only takes 4 pin power and can't get enough power to the cpu?
