Bought a 760, returned, now what?

So I bought a EVGA GTX 760 4GB (reference). and I was pretty unhappy with the card: temps, and overall design of the card. I returned the card and got a full refund, now I have a bunch of money to buy a new one so my question is this:

I have about a $300 to $420 budget. I seen that there is a ASUS 680 2gb on sale on Newegg, but I would think since I do dual-sometimes-triple monitor, I would be best off with a 3 or 4GB card.

So really my question is, should I invest in a 770? or should I cave in a little and go with a 7970 Ghz?

I've heard great things about both. I would love to get a 770 4gb model but they do go a bit higher in price. Or should I just get the GIGABYTE version of the 760 which has higher clocks, better cooling, etc.?

My new build:

i5-4670k @ 4.0
MSI z87-gd65
8gb Patriot @ 2133
Currently running an old 5770(which still runs my games at a fair level)
Kingston HyperX 3k 120gb
WD500 Blue
WD 2tb green
WD 1tb blue
CM HAf 932 advanced
Corsair H100i

It depends, maybe he plays demanding games like Crysis 3 that use more than 2GB even at 1080p.

Well I have done nothing but wait. And I have no idea what that is anyways. I need to choose something like pretty quickly. I can't stream my games because I'm running on this 5770 of my friends. But like I said I'm pretty impressed with this 4-5 year old card.

Yeah, that's 2 of them. But I'm also running dual monitor and I do stream, so streaming does take up a bit more video than non-streamers.

I do not play Crysis 3. Currently I play League of Legends, CS:GO, a few random titles I have on Steam such as like Dungeon Defenders, etc. I will be getting DayZ as well.

Ok, so the 7970 GHz from Gigabyte is equivalent to a 770. that's good to know. Any other information I should know about? I know a lot of stuff usually but video cards is just something I watch the numbers go up but I don't really know the guts of them, and why they perform better. I know the basics of VRAM and memory bus.

The only other thing to really know about it is that it's a better buy when you consider the price to performance ratio and it also overclocks very well.[/quotemsg]

Which product is a better buy the 7970 ghz or the 770? I mean the 770 performs well but most of them are on single 1080p monitor. I have 2 1080's and a 720. but I don't always run the 720, only when I'm playing a long day of Xbox and I'm streaming and need multiple PC monitors.

The 7970 is a better buy when you compare the performance to price ratio. It also has 3GB VRAM which will be handy for future games.[/quotemsg]

Okay. My next question, should I be safe buy the Ghz edition, which one GIGABYTE OR SAPPHIRE'S, or buy a OC one and OC it more? I have never OC'd a gpu before so I'm kinda new to it. But I am pretty smart so I don't think i'd be too hard.
