Hello all,

At the moment I am looking to upgrade my MSI GTX 670 to SLI with a MSI GTX 670 Power Edition. (It's cheaper right now than the normal MSI)

My foremost question is if my power supply unit is capable of producing enough power for the system:

Intel Core I7 950 @ 3.06GHZ CPU
Asus Sabertooth X58 Motherboard
MSI GTX670 SLI with MSI GTX670 PE
MS Tech ATX 750 Watt Power Supply

I hope you guys can help me out!

In theory 750w would be fine for 670 sli. However, your psu, while it says "750w" is really only about 450w. You have only 38a between your 2 12v rails, and that is not going to be enough to run sli.

Do yourself a favor and buy a quality psu such as corsair, seasonic, xfx or antec. As an example, and XFX core edition pro 750w has a single rail rated at 62a, almost double your 750w unit.
