This is continuation of that topic: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-1669820/parts-bsod.html.

Since it says solved, when its not.

Some time ago I've change some parts of my PC. Tbh I only haven't changed my ssd but it was working fine before.

My PC:
Asrock Z77 Extreme4
i5 3570K
2x4GB Adata 1600 MHz cl9
PSU - Corsair CX600M
MSI GTX660 N660-2GD5/OC

  • ■ I've tested ddr with mem test - 8 passes no erros, also tried them in different slots (dual/single channel) - still having bsod.

    ■ I had different PSU before so its not it for sure.

    ■ I've been runing my PC without GTX660 - intel graphics - still having crashes and bsod.

    ■ Had several Windows reinstallations with different drivers.

So only CPU or motherboard could cause this.
Which one is it? Please help me someone! I'm trying to fix this since may :(

Also I've notice that sometimes some applications crash, and won't load again, until i reboot PC.

Few last dumps:

So a fresh install on the 8th? Did you install any Windows Updates between the 15th and the 20th?

4x crashes: 3x were DirectX -related while you were playing Dota so maybe graphics card/drivers - possibly something else triggering it though.

1x was a 0x7E with no obvious clue as to the cause.
STOP 0x0000007E: SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
Usual causes: Insufficient disk space, Device driver, Video card, BIOS, Breakpoint with no debugger attached, Hardware incompatibility, Faulty system service, Memory, 3rd party remote control

I would uninstall Daemon Tools Lite and use the sptd.sys removal method here: http://www.duplexsecure.com/en/faq

sptd.sys Sat Aug 18 22:05:38 2012 (503003A2)
SCSI Pass Through Direct Host - Daemon Tools (known BSOD issues with Win7)
http://www.carrona.org/drivers/driver.php?id=sptd.sys

Run a full scandisk on all drives to check for errors, if there are any (on the System drive), do an SFC /SCANNOW up to 3x with reboots between (only needed if problems are found on the first run and cannot be fixed).

I have suspicions that something USB -related may be involved, update the ASMedia USB3 controller drivers and remove/uninstall the Lachesis - use a 'normal' mouse during troubleshooting.

There's a file missing from the collection - autoruns.arn, could you re-run the collection App please - make sure you run it as Administrator and that the collection App and autoruns and the license are in the same folder. Once you have the Autoruns.arn, upload it and I'll study that, too.

I've not re-read the older topic, does any of this sound familiar?

1. I uninstalled sptd
2. I ran sfc scan - no issues
3. Updated ASMedia drivers
4. I removed lachesis drivers before - that didn't help
5. Missing file:

Edit: I also have a lot of weird applications crashes. Most of the time i need to reboot to be able to launch those apps again. I've uploaded event viewer report (not sure if i did it right way):

Did you install any Windows Updates between the 15th and the 20th?

I don't see anything jumping out of Autoruns at me.

I'd picked up on most of the Application errors from MSInfo32, good to see the English version though ;)

I have to say that I'm very suspicious of possible malware (maybe root/boot-kit) here, I'd advise you take it to a good malware forum - Sysnative have one - for a thorough look over.

All updates to windows were made on 9th. And before i changed my hardware i had no issues - I dont download any suspicious software.
Could it be motherboard fault ? I checked pins under CPU - it was ok. Also my cpu cooler is stock so pressure should be fine.

The crash dump analyses seemed to indicate that there may have been a change to win32k.sys (a core Windows driver) after the crash on the 15th but before the crash on the 20th. Other than Windows Update, I don't know of any legitimate way that would have happened (if my reading of the analyses is correct, of course).

It could be motherboard, though testing them fully is almost impossible.
