Hi everyone.
Im having some really low speeds on my new samsung 840 pro ssd, and can't seem to figure out the problem.

I have tried to change the sata ports, and i have it connected to a sata 3 6gb/s port.

The bios is set to AHCI and i have it set to maximum performance in samsung magician.

If anyone have any idea what's wrong with my setup it would be greatly appreciated.

Setup:
ASUS P8Z68-V PRO
Corsair 8gb Vengeance 1600Mhz
Evga Gtx 770 SC
Seagate barracuda 1TB
Samsung 840 Pro 128gb
Corsair TX 750W

Thank you.

You haven't posted any numbers so I must make the assumption you are comparing your test numbers to those published by the OEM. All OEMs inflate their performance stats. It's just a fact of life. Speed (though attractive) isn't the real reason to invest in an SSD. Reliability is. No moving parts. Forget about the "blazing speed" claims and be happy you have a more reliable system.

The SSD is connected to a gray/white Sata 6Gb/s (intel) port.

Update : Actually, it was connected to the Marvell.
Changed ports and the speeds got much better, dont know how i missed this ..

Thanks for the replies ! :)
