DVD drive not being recognized?

Dell Inspiron 530S desktop. I upgraded to win7 from Vista and now my computer works fine otherwise but neither the internal nor the external dvd drives are showing up in My Computer or my burning software?

It may be that Windows 7 does not recognize or have a driver for your DVD drives. I would suggest trying to unplug them, reboot and plug them in. Hopefully this should allow your computer to recognize them as new hard ware. If it doesn't load that way, you may need to get a driver from the company and manually load it.
