intel speed step on or off

hi all

i have an i5 3570k at stock and i wonder if i should enable or dissable intel speedstep since i do alot of gaming and i thought i might cause stutter
 
Solution
if you're not overclocking, they're more benefits to let EIST enabled... You can try to disable it but you'll lose turbo boost, and you'll generate more heat, consume more power and (if you're using the intel box cooler) it'll be really anoying to hear the Cpu fan ramping up as it's heating more...

Only disable it if that resolve your stuttering issue (if you don't have that issue, let that enabled) and if you're overclocking...
