GTX 680 crashes when trying to team chat in BF3

got the newest drivers after clean install. happens as soon as i hit J to speak. but doesnt do it everytime. forgot to take a screen shot, but says something about Directx driver fail....

Un-Install, reinstall drivers. If you have to go with the Beta or an older batch of drivers. See if that fixes the issue? What OS are you on?

it was doing the same before i got the newest drivers on a clean install. win7pro 64bit
does it most of the time but not everytime when i try to chat

Thats a little weird... Have to tried messing with DirectX its self? Or binding another Key to squad chat?

nah, im not tech savvy enough to be messing with it.

after trying a different key binding, still same thing.
in the directx error box it states:
Directx function "get deviced removed reason" failed with DXGL_ERROR_DEVICE_RESET. Device reset due to a badly formed command. GPU "NVIDIA Geforce gtx 680" Driver 32049

This is 100% a driver issue. Call your video card manufacture and get them to assist you on this issue.
