I can tell you there's no way you need 700W. The graphics card needs around 230W and the rest of the system around 190W. The reason the PSU calculators are out there is to minimize the risk involved with someone building their own PC and grabbing one from the bargain bin at the PC store. Some PSUs are spec'd for PCs 10-15 years ago and -unfortunately- still selling in the grab bin. You're looking at a Seasonic. They are among the best PSU manufacturers out there. The model you've chosen is great and so is the one I've chosen. Both will be sufficient for your system. There is 620W Seasonic offering:

This will easily power your system as well and falls somewhere...
That's a good build. You be doing some high-end gaming with that GTX 770.

The case is a little old-school, but functional.

The CPU cooler of choice in the $20-30 price range is generally the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo these days. I don't think it will make a huge difference since you won't be OCing.

Everything else looks solid. That's a great CPU that will allow you to add another GTX 770 one day, but you'll need to get at least an Asus Z87-Plus or better to be able to have an 2-GPU SLI setup.

If you're always looking at having a system with a single video card, you'll only need a Seasonic 520W:

Everything else looks great.

Thanks a lot for your answer !
For this system my intentions are indeed a single GPU. I used the Asus PSU Watt Calculator and it came out 700W.
If I could get a 520W I'd much prefer that. How can I find out how much I need ?

I won't mind investing a little more for a solid case, any recommendations ?

Oh and last thing, is the mobo good enough for the rest of purposes ?

Thanks again !

This will easily power your system as well and falls somewhere between the Asus and my recommendation. I can guarantee any PSU we've mentioned so far in this thread is going to be sufficient for your build.

Here's Nvidia's spec for the GTX 770:
http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gtx-770/specifications

They show the stock card using a max of 230W. Even if your particular card is OC'd, the max it's going to use is most likely around 280W. The processor is rated at 84W. The fans, disks, motherboard and optical drives won't add to 100W additional. A Seasonic 520W gives you some wiggle room, while the 620W give you a lot of wiggle room.

Also, since you have no plan to run an SLI setup, I think the case you've chosen will be sufficient, but I found it to be discontinued so the front USB ports might be 2.0? I couldn't tell. How much is that one going to run you?
