I just got a evga gtx670 ftw. My psu is a thermaltake tr2 600nl2nc which is a 600W power supply. I noticed the gpu box saying something about a minimum requirement of 30 amps but I don't know how to figure out how many amps my psu has. any help would be nice

Solution
your psu has 48 amps on 12V rail so you should be fine...
on every psu you have datasheet where you can find this information , take total output in watts on 12V rail and divide it by 12 and you will get the total amps number...

however your psu is not even 80+ certified and generally has only mediocre build quality at best...
