I want to buy a laptop for school and gaming I cant order online and this is the best I've seen at my local store, I will use it mainly for autocad, photoshop etc. I had bad experiences with HP overheating while I was working and it shutting my computer off, so I've steered clear from it for some time now. How will this computer suit my needs and should I just overlook HP again and seach for a different brand?

Ah, well I'm sorry to hear your limited in that respect. If you can find laptop resellers/suppliers in your region, you should be able to get a good deal online still, but I'm not sure where you're located, so I can't promise anything there.

Check out the system requirements on the software applications you want to use in particular, and go from there. The 740M may work for you, but you want to make sure it will handle the stress with relative ease. The CPU is fine, though. :)

$750 bucks, I cant order online though, live outside the US and shipping would cut my budget by at least $100 bucks, so Im looking for it locally.
Thanks for the response
