I just bought a brand new Mushkin 240GB Chronos Deluxe SSD to add to my current 120GB Mushkin Chronos. I have a fresh and working install of Win7 on my 120GB SSD, however, whenever I try to format my new SSD using "Disk Management" I get the following error:

I've updated the firmwire, tried partitioning with/without formatting, with/without "quick format", tried 2 brand new SATA3 cables. Note every time I do this it is "Unallocated" (the line goes blue after the error). Win7 is already installed and working with AHCI on the other SSD. Is there something I'm missing here? Let me know if you guys would recommend me trying anything. Thanks for any help!

***Edit: Also tried swapping the SATA port it's plugged into, to no avail. And also rebooted/refresh like it asks many times.

I did. It turned out to be the disk manager itself. I downloaded a third party formatting tool which seemed to set it up fine. Thanks though
