I've tried for a while to port forward but am not the best at networking, I have a Xfinity Comcast router and a cisco behind it and I am connected to the cisco by cat-5 and it is faster thats why I do so. I do not know what to do so if anyone could please help.

I also allowed UDP/TCP on windows firewall but also have Notron Anti Virus and if I need to allow it there aswell please tell me how.

I also have as stated above a Xfinity Router (My ISP) and do I need to do anything with it?

You will need to set up port forwarding on both your Cisco and on your Comcast routers. The Comcast should be set to forward those ports to the IP of the Cisco router, which in turn will forward them to your computer.

If you can't access the Comcast router's configuration, or if it does not provide a mechanism for port forwarding, you can call Comcast and ask if you they can configure the device for direct or transparent mode, where all the routing features of the Comcast box are disabled and it merely forwards all data directly to the Cisco. Note that if you're using any features like wireless from the Comcast unit then these will be disabled.

Not sure why a Cisco router is included in the setup as well as the Comcast? That's going to confuse things a lot.

You would generally port-forward on the Comcast router 192.168.1.1 to the backend windows box 192.168.1.149. I suspect that the Comcast router is blocking incoming traffic on port 25565

If you are una ble to port-forward on the Comcast or cannot log into it, is there any way you can use the Cisco as the main router and port-forward on that?

I don't have access to a Comcast router and don't know what the interface looks like, so I can't guide you through the exact steps. However, I can explain the process.

You will need to know what IP address your Cisco router has received from the Comcast router. You can find this by going to the Cisco's interface and checking the Status or WAN Status page. Once you know that address, then you can log into the Comcast unit and look for the Port Forwarding setup. It should be something similar to the Cisco's setup. From there, create the rule to forward your port to the IP address of the Cisco unit.

I found the IP from the Comcast it was something like 10.0.0.X and I port forwarded the port on the comcast to the cisco on the 10.0.0.X and then went to the cisco, I made sure there was a port for what I needed on and it was sent to my pcs ip and then restarted both but it is still not working :(
