Video card quality

Hello, I am a computer amatuer, and am about to upgrade, (My current desktop is to ancient to mention.) I need to know if the video card I am getting will provide a decent experience with games such as GW2 and SC2. Here are the specs;

Processor: Intel Core 4th Generation i7-4770 Processor (8M Cache, up to 3.9 GHz)
Windows 7 Home Premium
Dell Outlet XPS 8700
1TB 7200 rpm SATA 6Gb/s Hard Drive
8GB Dual Channel DDR3 at 1600Mhz
16X DVD +/- RW Drive
AMD Radeon HD 7570 1GB GDDR5

that card should work for those two games. although a 7950 or gtx 760 would be better for all games at 1080p

the video card is manure. if you need to save a little money to get a better card you can get a 'lesser" processor. what other options are available?

The quality would depend on which manufacturer produced it for Dell. But the OEM HD7570 is a 720p card at best. If you don't mind reduced settings, maybe 1080p for some games.

both of the recommended system requirements for those games ask for much lesser cards. i think that your card will work for what you are playing.

you can look at charts all you want. the lesser the card the more the game will spit and sputter. better off with a decent card and a less expensive processor. surprised they didn't offer 32gigs of ram to make the machine "sound" good.

Get a Radeon HD 7770. Good budget card which i am currently playing bf3 on high with. Get that and a cheaper processor and you will be set. You have no need for an i7 with that low of a graphics card.

except that the CPU will last a long time but graphics cards get outdated much more quickly

I'll throw my vote in for downgrading the processor and upgrading the graphics card if that is an option.
