Hi guys!

I'm having a problem to overclock my 7970

My core clock don't go higher than 1120 when my voltage is 1.200v . But if I put 1.220v or 1.256v it can get to 1170-1180 without problems... I didn't force more than this.
My real problem is: I can only get more than 1.200v if I mark "force constant voltage " So...I don't know if it's bad... I think that there is no problem, because when I turn on 2 or 3 monitors my voltage get constant 1.200 always, even without Msi Afterburner.

BUT I would really like to be sure about:

- is there problem to use "force constant voltage" ?
- is there a way to fix it ? to not be forced to use "force constant voltage" ?

I researched a lot, found some stuff about people with locked voltage. But could not find someone with the same problem that I have.

Tried this : - http://www.overclock.net/a/getting-started-with-radeon-hd-7970-overclocking
- http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=359671

My temperatures : with 1.200v stock - 27c idle / 62c load - with 1 monitor
with 1.238v - 36c idle/ 64 load - com 1 monitor

with 1.200 and 2 monitors : 40c idle / 62c load
with 1.238 and 2 monitors: 42 idle / 64c load

The same problem using compatibility mode, withi Window 7 and with windows 8
running as administrator

Tried : sapphire trixx -could do NOTHING
asus tweak - don't have voltage options
Msi After burner 3.0.0 Beta 14 , this problem.

CPU: i5 3570 without k
GPU: Sapphire 7970 oc with boost blue PCB - using bios 2. (now that I'm posting I thought about it. I'll try with bios 1.)
mobo : ga-b75-d3h
PSU : CX600 533w version. played 6 hours of Far Cry 3 with GPU @1180 and no artifacts/no problems
Ram : G.skill ripjaws @1600 9-9-9-24

I thank you all in advance!
