my hard disk is failing

i have a new samsung laptop which freeze and lag some time i was thinking it could be the hard disk,so i run the diagnostic test it's say calibration retry count warning' can any one help me with this is the hard disk is failing should i take it to the repair center since it's only few week old .

This definitely sounds like your hard drive is failing. If you can tell who manufactured the drive, Western Digital, Seagate etc, go to their web site and download and run their disk tools. You should get a better idea of the drive's health. If you just bought the laptop take it back to where you bought it and ask for another. Remove any personal information and files before you go.
