Hi guys,

I'm in the process of building a computer and I'm not sure if I have bought the correct components.

CPU i5 – 4670
AsRock H87 – Pro4
Corsair Vengenece CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 8GB KB (2x4gb) CCR3 1600

I'm not sure if the H87 and this particular Corsair Ram (CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9) will work together, as the AsRock Memory Support list shows different types of ram.

Does anyone know whether the MB and Ram will work together or do i need to get a different type of RAM
Thanks

Solution
Yes the RAM will definitely work with the CPU and Motherboard. Also never trust the QVL's of RAM by motherboard manufacturers as they usually are biased.
A glimpse of my guide is below which will tell you what to look for and what not while picking components.
Also if you haven't purchased the RAM , don't get it , get another one as its not the best for the money.

If anyone's solution helps you , please select it as the solution for your thread.
