7770, 650 Ti 1gb or 650 Ti 2gb?

I am moving over from console to pc gaming, and I want to have a solid but reasonably cheap gaming rig. I would like to keep the price as low as possible, but still get good enough performance to last me through the next gen of games.
I have done a lot of research, but I am still stuck on whether to get the Radion HD 7770 1gb, the GeForce 650 Ti 1gb for minimum of £10 more or the GeForce 650 Ti for minimum of £30 more than the 7770.
I don't know how much of a difference the extra gb will give me as I am only going to use a single monitor at 1080p. Is the extra cost worth it for now? Should get the 7770 now and then potentially upgrade the the Ti Boost at a later date? Would appreciate your responses.

Welcome to PC gaming.

A 7770 isn't an entirely bad choice on a budget. A GTX 650 Ti Boost would be very nice.

Seeing as it also scales really well in SLI.

Okay thanks. I'm not planning in using SLI as the motherboard I have chosen doesn't support that, but when I get the money I think I'll upgrade.

What he said. If you can get a 7850 cheaply you should go for it.

Get the HIS HD 7850 2GB http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007MJGN5I/ref=as_li_q... it's far better than any of those options and only $139 right now.

Probably I little over my budget for right now. Know of any other cards around the 7770 price point?

Nope, just get the ASUS HD 7770 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007RFYFH0/ref=as_li_q...

Okay thank you for your replies. I think I'll brobably get this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00792VT98/?tag=pcp0f-21
