I've just upgraded ASUS P5LD2-X/GBL, with a Core 2 Duo E8500, after updating the bios to version 0207. Unfortunately, the frequency of the processor, won't go above 2.53, as shown on the following image http://i41.tinypic.com/icjlsk.jpg.
Please give me some suggestions, the processor is in the supported list http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P5LD2XGBL/#support_CPU.

DDR2 - 4GB 667mhz
