Hey there y'all.. I'm from South Africa.. Now I have a question, I'm planning on buying a set of GeIL PC3-12800 1600MHz C9 Enhance CORSA DUAL CHANNEL
2x4GB memory. I'm not entirely sure if it will be a perfect fit for the mobo I have in mind as the timings are as follows - 9-9-9-28.. Could that become problematic and also, I've only read good reviews of GeIL products - I don't know very much about them as they're not as big as Kingston, Corsair and G.Skill out here.. Anywho, this looks to be my build I'm planning out - keep in mind, I care not for colours clashing, but the sheer value of the product itself is more important to me.

ASUS M5A99X EVO
AMD FX 6300 Black Edition
GeIL Enhance Corsa 1600MHz 2x4GB
Coolermaster V8
Club 3D 7870XT Joker card
Or
AMD Never settle bundle with powercolor 7870 with 5 free games( I'm a little indecisive about this too - probably not the right thread, but is powercolor any good? )

Components from previous build:
Corsair CX500
Seagate 1TB 7200RPM
WD Velociraptor 64GB 10 000 RPM

If you can assist me in any way that might help my build I would really appreciate it, also, if you could advise me on any better products to go with my build, it would also help a lot.. Thanks in advance!!!

Should be fine, your CPU should carry 1600 without a problem

Thanks for the reply.. But my question is, is there a big difference between the two timings( 9-9-9-28 & 9-9-9-24 ).. If so, what is it and also, I don't see the specific model listed on the ASUS website, would it run with no problem at all?

Yes, it will be fine, and QVLs are a joke to be honest, see my info thread here:
