My budget is really tight and my setup is like 4 years old but anyways I want to improve the worst part of this setup to push one year through. The thing is I don't have big monitor so myr esolutions are really low: 720p or 4:3 1280:1024.
My setup:
Motherboard is P5K
8 GB DDR2
E2200 (2.2 dual) cpu
HD6670 GDDR5 gpu

I am thinking about q6600 since I saw this is quite popular option and quad core promises much more performance than the one I have now. I use my pc mainly for games. Budget is about £50 and I would buy used one anyways since most of them are discontinued. I can find q6600 in ebay for about £40.
