I'm wondering about DVI vs. HDMI and ability to display HD Video. I'm getting a graphics card that has both DVI an HDMI outputs. However, many of the monitors I am looking at right now seem to have ony DVI inputs. If I purchase a monitor with a DVI input, will I be able to:

Display HD video
Play blu-ray DVDs

Or do I absolutely need to have an hdmi input and use that connection to the card?

Both are digital and will give you HD video. Here this will explain the difference better than I could...
