Hi, well I just bought Skyrim Legendary edition from amazon and I seem to may have made an oversight, I only have 2 SATA cables which are plugged into my SSD and HDD so in order to install it I have to take out the HDD cable and plug it into the ODD. Which means that I have to install Skyrim onto my 120GB Samsung SSD, which I really wanted to just have my OS since that already takes up around 40GB and did not really want to slow it down even more
Therefore I was wondering if once I installed it onto my SSD could I move it to my HDD

Yes it can be done by using symbolic links. have a read of this article. It focuses on steam but the same process will work for you.

on a side note. Some people dis agreed with me in the comments section of the last system builder marathon on the need for an optical drive. I suggest just getting a cable soon because at under $5 USD for the cable the headache it saves is well worth it.

edit: here is more info on the links: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NTFS_symbolic_link ( and this one ) http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/aa363878%28v=vs.85%29.aspx
