I am going to bet it doesn't work. The proxim is similar to motorola canopy and run a proprietary protocol. Now it might be possible to get it to run in 802.11 mode but you would have to dig though the manuals. These device key advantage over normal wireless stuff is the central hub can control when they can and cannot transmit data.

I also thought so... The Proxim devices gives terrific headaches... They aren't fully compatible with products from other vendors.... TP Links are great on the other hand....
The 2 devices I spoke about are lying idle in my inventory and hence the thought of putting them to some community use...
Need to buy another TPLINK TL-WA7510N and pair them up .....
Proxims aren't worth the penny !!!
Thanks for the reply again... lets see if anybody else has done it before...
Guys please feel free to also mention if you've paired Proxim MP11 5012-sur with any Non Proxim Base Stations.....
