In searching for a new graphics card/monitor combo I'm finding some companies with nice price points and that seem to have decent ratings. I had planned to go EVGA (nvidea) for the card and Samsung for the monitor however I'm finding:

Cards: MSI/ASUS
Monitor: ACER

Seem to have very good reviews and prices. Anyone have any bad feedback like "stay away" for these???

If you are buying an nvidia card, EVGA is, IMO, the primo brand followed closely by ASUS. As far as monitors go, ASUS, Benq, Dell and Acer are all good. Pick a monitor that suits your needs at a price you like. Unless you are planning to do multi-monitor eyefinity type super duper gaming, virtually any led and/or ips monitor will be fine.
