Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone knew the PLL required by clockgen for the Dell Studio XPS 7100, or if anyone could tell me where I could find them as searching google seemed to have no results.

Regards, Chris

Ps If any extra info is needed please tell me!

Well, just for informational purposes :) , I wouldn't bother with clockgen. As a way of OC'ing a system its a bit of a waste of time. You won't get anything that you can call stable from it, and it won't be able to push your system to it's max either. All your really gonna do is frustrate yourself, when OC'ing is actually a fun thing to do, with real rewards :)

Okay thanks for the advise, Dell don't allow access to overclocking in the BIOS though so I just thought I'd have a mess around with clockgen first

i know, it's a bummer. I looked into a few years ago trying to the same with my own Dell Desktop, and it was just a pain in the neck. You might have more luck. Generally, everyone on Toms would tell you not to bother.
