Hi,

I just received a computer that does not have a dvid card. The monitor I have has both vga and dvid inputs. What do I need to do to use my monitor with this computer?

Thanks

not advanced, but higher resolution capability, you won't be able to get extreme resolutions over a Dsub.

is this integrated or discrete, most integrated have just the Dsub, most discrete cards have both, the newer cards have just the DVI, both DVI-D and DVI-I most of the higher end cards have just a single DVI-I as this is both Digital and Analog. the I stands for Integrated.

Hey, Kami
Thanks. It's a good thing I don't play a lot of advanced games. By the way, I'm a legacy programmer.
