You must have plugged some cables incorrectly..

Either something is inop, or something is not connected correctly.
Go here, and perform ALL the steps. Not just read, do them.

on the job
i am guessing my reset sw or power sw must have shorted which resulted in endless reboots and no post following. will Breadboarding help?

Don't guess. Find the bad part or connection.

Thank you guys for introducing me to the checklist.
What i did was removed all the parts with mobo and installed everything outside cabinet on the mobo box (breadboarding). there i found out the 4+4 pin connector was loose and was not connected properly, may be because of heat sink. connecting that socket solved my problem.

Thanks again guys
