Booting from DVD Drive--

CPU: AMD Phenom II X2 550
MOBO: GIGABYTE GA-MA790GPT-UD3H
RAM: I have two 4GB sticks and four 1GB sticks-- will use whatever configuration is best. All are 1333 mhz. All six sticks were bought in packs of two.

The system has 32bit-W7 on it at the moment and it works fine but I do want to use all of the RAM I own.

Memory is unganged at the moment, cores 2 and 3 are disabled. I can't think of anything else.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Solution
Try to make a bootable USB instead. Download this www.microsoftstore.com/store/msusa/html/pbPage.Help_Win7_usbdvd_dwn
Install it, browse your ISO and let it transfer it to your USB. Fastest and easiest way :)
