CableCARD vs. "CableCARD with Tuning Adapter"

I am moving and ordering new cable service -- how do i determine whether i need a CableCARD or a "CableCARD with Tuning Adapter" -- I have one HD cable-ready tv and buying a second.

That's going to be an issue answered only by your new cable company. Ask them if they've deployed "Switched Digital Video" in your new area. If so, you will be required to utilize Tuning Adapters.

If you live in an area where Switched Digital Video (SDV) has been deployed, you will also need one or more Tuning Adapters from your cable TV provider in order to receive all digital cable TV channels.
