Compatible mother board?

I have an Intel core 2 extreme x6700 and I was wondering if my asus ipibl-lb motherboard is compatible with it?

even though it does not say it can handle the extreme it will because the FSB will go to 1333Mhz

I found that same document but I wasn't sure if it was compatible or not and I didn't want to screw up my processor. I wanted to be positive before I put it in.
