Slow boot, ntbtlog.txt has 5800 lines

It looks like the cause of my slow boot (2+mins) could be seen in the ntbtlog.txt that shows the same 257 lines of driver and dll loading over and over (50 times, 5800+ lines). The computer seems to run normally once the long boot has completed.

If this makes sense, what do I do to solve the problem. Rather than re-install the OS, I'd like to understand the cause and try to fix the problem.

Dell 400sc, P2.4, aprox 1600mb RAM
 
Solution
The drivers are possibly outdated and malfunctioning. A virus is probably installed on your computer. It could also be a HDD malfunction.
